Birding. The hobby of people who care about the environment. Of people who have superior intellect. Of people who appreciate beauty. Of people who know that birds tell us much about the health of our planet.
Birding is also enjoyed by a wide range of humanity from young people to the stereotypical little old ladies. Most people look at birds only in their own backyard and may not even know the names of species they love to watch. Some of us travel widely and go on great adventures searching for amazing experiences with birds. We all love birds, so all approaches are valued.
